Yoga and Pilates Classes
BWMC offers yoga and Pilates classes at its campus at 301 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie for area residents. Classes are taught by a certified instructor of R U Fit and are limited to 20 participants.
Each session runs for eight consecutive weeks and participants must pre-register for all eight weeks of the session. The cost of the eight-week session is $40. Visa, Mastercard, Discover or check payments are accepted. Participants are asked to wear loose, comfortable clothing and to bring their own mat.
Classes Include:
Yoga/Pilates Combination
Provides improved flexibility, strengthening of the abdominal core, coordination and concentration by providing a means of reducing stress and relaxing the body and mind. Prior experience is not required.
Yoga (Beginning and Intermediate)
Provides improved flexibility, strength, coordination and concentration by providing a means of reducing stress and relaxing the body and mind. Prior experience is not required for beginning yoga classes.
Pilates
By focusing on strengthening the abominal core, Pilates provides improved flexibility, coordination and stamina. Prior experience is not needed.
