Dr. Courtney is the medical director of The Joint Replacement Center and also serves as the Chief of Orthopedics at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Dr. Courtney is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the Arthroscopy Board of North America. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgery and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He maintains active memberships in numerous professional medical organizations including the Maryland Orthopedic Society, the Medical Society of Maryland and the Anne Arundel County Medical Association. Dr. Davis earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

He is an associate professor in the Departments of Orthopedic Surgery and Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University's School of Medicine. He is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and maintains membership in the North American Spine Society and the Cervical Spine Research Society. He has lectured around the world in a variety of topics. His clinical interests include surgical treatment of the spine as well as hip and knee replacements.

Jackie Dominick is the nurse practitioner for the Spine and Pain Center. She earned a master of science degree in nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, where she specialized in acute care and clinical nursing. With over 20 years of experience, she is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an acute care nurse practitioner and is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the Nutritional Association of Orthopedic Nurses.

Dr. McDevitt earned his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed his residency at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Dr. McDevitt is the Director of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine for the Naval Medical Clinic in Annapolis and is an orthopedic consultant to the United States Congress/Supreme Court. He is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and maintains memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons. Amir R. Moinfar MD

Dr. Moinfar completed advanced fellowship training in shoulder surgery and sports medicine at the Duke University Medical Center.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.  He then received his medical degree from Georgetown University, and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Maryland/Shock Trauma Center.  Dr. Moinfar then pursued an additional year of fellowship training at Duke University where he gained expertise in the most advanced treatment of complex shoulder and knee problems.  He also trained extensively in both arthroscopic surgery, and joint replacement surgery.  His practice is dedicated primarily to both open and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, sports medicine, and joint replacement surgery.

He is a candidate member of both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. See also Chesapeake Orthopedics.

Chris Urban, M.D.,

Dr. Urban is a fellowship trained spine surgeon for the hospital's Spine and Pain Center and treats a wide variety of adult and pediatric spinal disorders. This includes complex deformity such as, scoliosis, kyphosis, and spondylolesthesis. He also treats patients with cervical or lumbar disc herniations, degenerative spinal conditions, and traumatic injuries of the lower back and neck. Other areas of focus include minimally invasive spine surgery and microdiscectomy.

Dr. Urban completed his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and then completed his orthopedic residency and spine fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.  See also Bay Area Orthopedics.

She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She is Adjunct Faculty at Coppin State University, and Associate Faculty at University of Maryland.
