Dr. Ramirez is president of Baltimore Washington Medical Center's Medical Staff and chairman of the department of medicine. He received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad in Chihuahua, Mexico and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in New Jersey. He also completed an invasive cardiology fellowship and a cardiology fellowship at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mill, New Jersey.
