Radiation Oncology

The Radiation Oncology Department provides comprehensive radiation oncology services for cancer patients. Services are provided on an outpatient and inpatient basis. The department consists of 1 treatment room (Linear Accelerator), 1 simulation room, 4 exam rooms, 2 consultation rooms, receptionists/registration area and physician and administrative offices.

The staff consists of a Radiation Oncologist, 2 nurses, 5 radiation therapists, 2 dosimetrists, 1 physicist and 2 registration/receptionsists. The department provides nurses an opportunity to work in a state of the art facility as in integral member of the cancer care team. Scheduling is flexible with no "On-Call" coverage required. Staff is encouraged to pursue educational goals. Educational funding is available for the staff that pursues professional certifications and degrees.
