Sunrise of Severna Park

As a further service to our older patients, Baltimore Washington Medical Center is affiliated with Sunrise Independent and Assisted Living of Severna Park. It is a community for seniors consisting of two Victorian-style manors that house up to150 residents. The complex includes 75 assisted living suites and 60 independent living areas. Special features include a library, community rooms, sitting areas and an activity center. It is an elegant residential environment with staff trained to encourage the independence, preserve the dignity and protect the privacy of residents.

The level of services provided is individualized for the taste and needs of residents. These can include:

- Personal assistance with bathing, dressing and medication
- Wellness program
- Monitoring diet and exercise
- Housekeeping and linen services
- Recreational, educational, spiritual and social activities
- Regular community visits by healthcare professionals
