Dr. Munir received his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism from the University of Maryland and the Baltimore VA Hospitals.

Dr. Munir is board certified and a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the Endocrine Society, and the American Diabetes Association. He is also an Assistant Professor in Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Dr. Prendergast received her medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center. She completed her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at the University of Virginia Health Science Center.
Dr. Prendergast is board certified and a member of The American Board of Internal Medicine and The American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
